PERMANENT MAKEUP FAQ'S

How old do I need to be?

You must be 18 or over and not pregnant or breastfeeding. I will go through your medical history with you before any treatment to ensure there are no contraindications.

How long will it last?

Permanent makeup can last anything from one year to a few years. Treatments usually require an annual colour boost to keep it looking fresh.

Will it hurt?

Most people only experience a little discomfort during a permanent makeup procedure. High quality numbing creams are used before and during your treatment.

Can you guarantee the result?

Permanent Makeup is a process, not an exact science and I cannot guarantee you an exact colour result. Colours heal differently in everyone, lighter colours fade faster than darker colours, and all colours will change with time.

What do I need to do afterwards?

This will be explained in depth and you will be receive written instructions as well.

It is vital that you adhere to your aftercare instructions to ensure that you are not vulnerable to infection once you have left the environment of my clinic.

Do I need to have two sessions?

Yes you do. Permanent Makeup is always a two part process. If you don’t have this top up within the advised timescale the colour will disappear quickly. Make up with one session is not finished and you will not have a great result.

How do you choose the colour?

I will discuss with you the look you are hoping to achieve from permanent makeup, then I will be guided by your hair colour, skin tone and of course your colour preference!

Are you qualified, licensed and insured?

Yes! I I am insured and registered with The New Zealand Association of Registered Beauty Professionals, and am Licensed by Auckland Council.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes! I accept Laybuy and Afterpay
